چکیده
Abstract Methodological choices in animal experimentation are influenced by a variety of factors. The analysis the relative weight such factors on practice can offer better idea influences characterizing work researchers today. To this aim, we conducted structured interviews and sent out questionnaires to using models. results showed that main factor influencing researchers’ with animals was appropriateness chosen model respond question addressed. Ethical issues came as next important factor, mostly based considerations regarding suffering. general public opinion appeared be little significance, indicating gap still exists between society. This paper shows is both external (e.g., adherence scientific objectivity) internal ethical concerns), providing varied profile contemporary researcher.

متن کاملPathogenesis of Epilepsy: Challenges in Animal Models
Epilepsy is one of the most common chronic disorders affecting individuals of all ages. A greater understanding of pathogenesis in epilepsy will likely provide the basis fundamental for development of new antiepileptic therapies that aim to prevent the epileptogenesis process or modify the progression of epilepsy in addition to treatment of epilepsy symptomatically. Therefore, severa...
متن کاملA Collodion Sac for Use in Animal Experimentation.
Sanarelli (1891) is believed to have been the first to employ collodion sacs in animal experimentation. Subsequently, sacs of different types have been used in various in vivo experiments by a number of investigators (see bibliography). Alcohol-ether collodion was employed in each case for the preparation of the semipermeable membranes. In order to withstand the distorting effect of the intesti...
